About the Venue

The Palais de la Bourse is in the Bordeaux’s most famous square, Place de la Bourse, which was named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2007. Formerly used as Bordeaux Stock Exchange, this building of the 18th century represents the perfect example of the fusion between tradition and modernity that characterize the entire city of Bordeaux. From the 2006, the Palais de la Bourse and its square are reflected in all their brilliance by the world’s largest water mirror.

Location & Directions

17 Place de la Bourse, 33000 Bordeaux, France

The entrance of the Palais is on the north side of the Place de la Bourse.

Directions from the Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport:

  • By public transportation (1-1h30min) - Take the #1 Bus towards Gare St. Jean for 8 stops, exit at the Lycées de Mérignac stop, and switch to the Tram A. Take Tram A towards Floirac Dravemont for 16 stops and exit at the Sainte Catherine stop. Walk East on Cours d'Alsace-et-Lorraine towards Rue Ravez (88 m) then turn left onto Rue du Pas-Saint-Georges (300 m). Continue straight onto Parliament Square (47 m), Parliament Square turns slightly right and becomes Rue Fernand Philippart (120 m). Turn left onto Place de la Bourse and the Palais will be on the left.

  • By car (30-40 min)- Take A630 and leave Rue René Cassin and Avenue René Cassin / D1563

    4 min (2.4 km). Follow A630 towards Boulevard Aliénor d'Aquitaine in Bordeaux. Take exit 4C and exit A630

    10 min (12.7 km). Continue on Boulevard Aliénor d'Aquitaine. Take Cours Saint-Louis towards Quai du Maréchal Lyautey, the Palais will be on the right

Directions from the Gare St. Jean:

  • By public transport (20 min)- Take Tram C from the station 4 stops and exit at the Place de la Bourse, the Palais will be on the left.

  • By car (11 min)- Take Rue de Saget and Quai de Paludate towards Quai Sainte-Croix

    3min (750m). Continue on Quai Sainte-Croix. Take Quai Richelieu towards Quai du Maréchal Lyautey

    4 min (1.6 km). Take Allée d'Orléans and Rue Esprit des Lois toward Quai du Maréchal Lyautey

    3min (600m). Continue on Quai du Maréchal Lyautey and the Palais will be on the left.
